The Pink Making Strides Walk

Yesterday, I participated in the Making Strides against Breast Cancer fund-raising walk. I walked for all the woman whose lives have been affected by breast cancer. My legs hurt when it was all over, but I felt good. It was an experience I will never forget. I will definitely do this event for several years to come.

Please support Breast Cancer Awareness

Well done – it’s a great cause. I do the Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure every year and there is always such a wonderful feeling of camaraderie amongst the walkers – it is something I really look forward to doing.

      Thank you, Emjay.
This is so true! There was a deep sense of unity, definitely a wonderful feeling!

My daughter in law works as a human resources specialist in NHL and it raises money. So I figured it was time to walk and support the cancer awareness with her and my son.

Thank you Zoom for doing the walk. My step-mother has had breast cancer since 2003 and is placed on a different medication that stagnates it’s growth every couple of years because the cancer builds up a resistance after a while. I really do think because of these walks and other fund raisers it has provided means for studies and new medications to be created. Medications she is on now weren’t available a few years ago. It provides hope for the future.

      You’re welcome!
Oh Monsoon, I am so sorry. I hope things continue to work out great for her. I’m so glad to support such a worthy cause. You right, only through research will we find a cure. That’s why it is imperative that people support the breast cancer research. God bless and I will keep her in my prayers and thoughts.
